Angela Page

Angela has performed in coffee houses in the Eastern United States, Canada and England. Drawing on her acting and storytelling experience, Angela interprets songs with dramatic flair and lively comedic timing, interjecting anecdotes both from literary and real life situations. Her varied repertoire includes songs she has collected by singer-songwriters from her many years in the folk music "scene" and original tunes ranging from the thoughtful to the dramatic.

In college, Angela managed Oneonta's "Side Track Cafe" and was active in forming the "Folk Music Conference" for colleges. After graduation she created Greenwich Village folk music club "Speak Easy" and has since helped kick off such ventures as "Fast Folk", a folk collaborative that began as a mail order musical magazine and the "Pursuit of Happiness" Cafe in Liberty, New York.

Angela and Kathy Devine, her friend from Oneonta, performed in December 1995 at the BandBox.

Currently Angela hosts Folk Plus, the folk music program on public radio station WJFF, in the Catskills of New York.

Besides gigging (often with her partner John Webber), Angela is also a librarian and a mother of three budding musicians.
